Quotation & Pricing Process

At Thompson McCabe, our primary focus is always based around our client.

Our experience has proven that transparency is key when it comes to providing a detailed quotation and associated specification for any project. This is often conceived from an initial outline, a theme, or even a magazine extract which you may have come across whilst flicking through a publication. Conversely, the level of information available may be inclusive of architectural plans and other associated construction details.

Once we have crystallised the client’s needs, through the consultation process, we will produce a detailed quotation with descriptive specifications and schematic architectural layout plans. These are all aimed at enabling the client to visually and numerically see the project unfold before their eyes and, therefore, simplifying what can often become a complicated ‘decision making process’ for our client.

Under normal circumstances we will oversee any necessary applications for local authority approvals in order to complete the build process. However, in scenarios where the planning approval requirements and architectural plans have already been obtained by the client we provide a charging structure for construction works only.
